Terms of Service

Producer Relay provides an initial qualification screening for people exploring insurance producer opportunities and a sourcing service for eligible insurance agencies, brokerages, and insurance marketing organizations (IMOs). Candidate screening is free. Candidates are not required to pay or complete a paid checkout to view Producer Relay or submit the initial screening.

A candidate submission is an expression of interest, not an application decision, license, agency contract, placement, promise of work, or guarantee of a response or outcome. Agencies make their own hiring and contracting decisions and remain responsible for applicable licensing and pre-licensing requirements.

Only an insurance agency, insurance brokerage, or IMO may apply for and pay for Producer Relay’s agency sourcing service. A person exploring producer opportunities may use the candidate screening without charge and may not use a candidate-facing path to purchase the agency service.

The preferred Agency Partner Sourcing Retainer is a one-time payment of $2,500. It is not a subscription and does not renew automatically.

If Producer Relay and the agency separately agree to the bounty arrangement, the agency owes a one-time $500 bounty for each provided candidate only after that candidate completes pre-licensing and has a signed agency contract. Both milestones must be complete before a bounty checkout is made available. A qualifying agent is charged at most once under this arrangement.

A successfully captured payment starts a 365-day service term for the paying agency at the time of capture. A failed, cancelled, pending, or unverified payment does not start a service term or grant paid service.

The agency pays through hosted one-time checkout. Producer Relay does not charge candidates, and these agency arrangements have no recurring billing or automatic renewal. After a successful capture, Producer Relay generates a paid commercial invoice for the selected arrangement and emails it to the agency contact on file.

An agency representative must provide accurate organization and contact information, select an eligible organization type, and be authorized to apply and agree for that organization. Producer Relay may review an application before enabling agency checkout.

For a bounty arrangement, an agency administrator must record that both required milestones have been completed for the provided candidate before a one-time bounty checkout can be created. A candidate reference is used to prevent a second bounty charge for the same qualifying agent.

You are responsible for information you submit and for using the service lawfully. Do not submit information about another person unless you have the right to do so. Producer Relay does not independently verify a candidate’s licensing status or guarantee an agency’s hiring decision.
